On a computer only. The extension works in Chrome on a computer, not on a phone or tablet.

Resolve in the company’s live chat.

Many companies only help in a chat on their website. The extension lets Resolve open that chat in your Chrome when your case needs it, and handle it for you, within the limits you set.

What it can see

It works only in the chat it opens for you, or one you start it on with its toolbar button. While its side panel is open, it also checks the tab you’re on for a chat, on sites you’ve let it read. That check stays on your computer: nothing from the tab goes to Resolve until you start. Chrome asks your OK before Resolve can open a company’s site, once for each company, or once for all of them if you choose.

The limits it keeps

It answers on its own only on a case you’ve approved, and sends at most 30 replies on its own for one case in three hours. If the company offers cash at or above your minimum, with no conditions, it accepts; every other offer comes back to you, the same as on email. You can stop it on the case or from its toolbar button, and turn off Open and start chats for me under Connections to start each chat yourself. Chat windows differ from site to site, so it tells you when it can’t handle one.

It’s in beta

The extension isn’t in the Chrome Web Store yet, so for now only Resolve’s testers have it. When a company only helps in a chat, Resolve keeps each message ready for you to copy in, and it opens here for everyone once it’s in the store.
